Welcome to Gower Garms - garments inspired by the Gower Peninsula and beyond! Hey, I'm Ayanna and having lived around the Gower for all of my student life, I developed such a strong connection to the place - whether it was sunset watching at Rhossili, cold sea dips at Caswell & Port Eynon bay or wild blackberry picking by Pwll Du...oh and not to mention watching the full moon by Three Cliffs. There is such a magic to that corner of the world and it's also where I formed life long friendships.
                   
                                   
Having probably grabbed a paintbrush as my first object when I was a child, I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. Art has played a huge role in my life and without it the world would be such a boring place. With a love for art as well as the Gower, I thought 'why not pair the two together and make something special out of it' - and that's how Gower Garms was born. I wanted to create prints that captured the flora & fauna around the peninsula, turning them into garments anyone could wear.

All my designs are hand drawn and carved by myself which are then lino printed onto the clothes ✧˖°. Thank you for joining me on this journey and I hope you enjoy wearing my designs as much as I enjoyed making them :)
